OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS –– I've carved out my own sector of the creative industry, by pursuing the inclusion of motion design as a brand system standard. I wholeheartedly believe that the way a brand moves, transitions, and even sounds, is as critical to the entiriety of the system as the color palette is. In order to reinforce this to the clients we were pitching, and the clients we already had, we began to develop design system videos. We wanted to capture the tone and behavior of a design system in a way that would excite our clients, while assigning rules and movement characteristics to their design guidelines. This design video for Valent USA was the first of many that allowed us to shed light on an emerging and vital piece of the creative system.
